To be able to provide Bibles and resources for the churches in China continues to be our passion and mandate. The Bible promises in Isaiah 41:13 NIV that “I am the Lord, your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
We are grateful that God has given Bibles for China the opportunity to share with leaders in China with whom we have developed relationships over the last few years. This gives us confidence that He will continue to give leadership making a difference to thousands of families in China. What a miracle!
One of the greatest concerns for the pastors we visit is how they can effectively provide God‘s Word to the next generation. It has been encouraging to serve with them and listen to them and hear their sense of urgency which has given the vision to develop ways they can reach the intergenerational in their communities for Jesus Christ. They are working in an environment that has been changing what they can do in reaching the younger church of the future. What a joy to hear them sharing the stories of the Bible to the children with a willingness to be innovative through this process. Therefore they are seeking ways in which they can touch children by providing opportunities in locations outside of the church for them to experience the stories of God’s Word. This is crucial in order for the church to be able to have a remnant in China who know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
As we listen to them we realize that the soil is fertile and open to the Gospel if we can provide them with the Bible, Gospels of John, Study Bibles, commentaries and other spiritual resources that will assist them in sharing the message of Christ. This is important in order for them to train and make disciples within their villages. We are trusting the Lord to provide the funds so they will be able to sow seeds of the Word in the fertile soil that exists in China.
We are tremendously blessed as a ministry to have many new partners joining us from around the world in 45 countries along with 49 states who support Bibles for China. Your prayers and support result in encouraging us to believe that God will continue to open doors and opportunities to provide Bibles to the registered churches in China. Also, many are not aware of the fact that the Bible is printed in China and 4 million copies each year are approved by the government to be placed wherever their churches exist. Our opportunity as a ministry is to come alongside the churches that are registered and legal in China to provide Bibles openly for those who attend. There’s a great need for Bibles in China and we thank God that we have been able to fill a portion of that need through those who pray and provide funds for our organization.
This time of the year many are involved in vacations and projects and often ministries and nonprofits find it difficult to carry out their fertile opportunities.
