The church in China needs your help equipping rural lay leaders for ministry

Bibles for China has been given the opportunity to help fund the equipping of lay ministers at a central training center in a southern Chinese province to go back into rural China to preach, teach and disciple believers in their home churches.

For as long as we have worked in China we have observed the leadership void that exists. The Bibles that have been distributed need to be properly read, understood and applied in the lives of those who receive them. We want to help make this possible by assisting these students in this learning process by helping with their food and travel costs.

Bibles for China has helped provide study Bibles for these students, but assistance with travel and meals for their 20 months of training is needed. These lay people are being equipped to go back to their homes and assist their pastors in training their fellow believers.

Would you, your church or Sunday School Class consider sponsoring a student while they are at the training center preparing for this ministry? Remember, these are laypeople, sacrificially giving two years of their lives to train to be leaders in their churches. They are purely volunteers!
