Merry Christmas and blessings to all this wonderful season!

The staff of Bibles for China celebrates the birth of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, right along with you and shares in this joy!

The fruits generated in 2020 from your generous support and prayers made an impact in China even during this chaotic time. Thank you so much! The Holy Spirit continues to work on bringing the world into His kingdom and we all have the opportunity to help create positive change.

As a professional forester and businessman, God instilled in me an awe for His creation and also developed gifts of mission and administration. Who would have imagined that my first trip to China in 2016 with a Bibles for China Bible Distribution Team would allow my talents and gifts to be used? But then to see how God aligned my retirement with an opportunity to serve on the BFC staff; just amazing, and I now serve as the CFO for this wonderful nonprofit. What a blessing to see how I can be used to bring others to Christ through this mission. But, it also became quite apparent the massive task at hand to get the Word of God into the hands of our Christian brothers and sisters in China.

From a recent report, Christianity in China has grown 4300% in the past 50 years. This equates to approximately 10,000 people per day becoming Christians in China. 10,000 per day! How easy it would be to step back and see this as an unattainable task to get a Bible into their hands, but God is in control and granted us favor during this chaotic year by allowing Bible distributions into areas previously unavailable to us. We all know the Starfish Story where the young boy is throwing washed up starfish from a storm back into the water. An older man asks the boy why he would do this, since there are way too many to make a difference. Remember the boy’s response; it makes a difference to this one as he throws it back into the water.

What difference can you make? Chris Bohjalian says, “A single, ordinary person still can make a difference – and single, ordinary people are doing precisely that every day.” Thanks to each and every one of you for making a difference to those in China who need God’s Word. It costs BFC approximately $5 to purchase and distribute a Bible to those in need. In 2020, Bibles for China distributed almost 50,000 Bibles, Biblical Study Guides, and Commentary Sets. But that means we only covered about 1 week of new Christians. Why would we do this when there are way too many to make a difference?

It makes a difference to this one!

Merry Christmas all! I rejoice! Emmanuel has come to reside with us!
